hi, i've read some of the articles on this forum on troubleshooting slow connection rates in bittorent and none of them work. I have an overall connection of 2.9 mb and use to be able to get 100 kb/s in bittorent and also limewire. But lately files have been sooo slow 0 kb/s - 2kb/s with a max of 10 kb/s. I have a wireless-g router can anyone help me with this prob? It takes me like 5 days straight just to download a 300 mb file.

Are there a lot of seeders on these files? What's the health?

im having problems getting good speeds using bittorent.i wanted to try and download a ps2 game but da max speed i get is 10 kb/s i forwarded ports 6881to 6889 but i dont see a different. also im using norton and when i turn da firewall off there still is no difference..ive been trying to figure this out for days and all the help i get is "forward your ports"can someone REALLY help me??

also when i download a file from limewire i get very fast speeds like 300 kb/s and when i download a program from the internet it downloads very fast too.I took a speed test using http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and my max download speed is 4604 kbps and max upload is 126 kbps..
