Hi there, I'm on two minds wheather to get a psp or not. I went to the local shop today and enquired what version they had. I'm told it was version 2.0 I'm curious to find out if you can put music, films and games on this version? And also is the quality of the movies good? Thanks.

yes you can store music and movies on all PSPs, you can only run games on a 1.5 though and to do that you need a loader like fastloader or UMD Emulator. The movie quality is pretty good if you don't mind watching on a small screen

yes 2.0 and be easily down graded to 1.5 but be sure not to update above 2.0 just as yet because of the restrictions and you wont be able to downgrade from that, but as this is the only new stages of the PSP new things will be comming out shortly to exploit it more.

You mean you can only play HOMEBREW on 1.5.
There is no video/music/image issue with 2.0+, only 2.0+ has more codecs, file typess, etc.
I was told to change my sig so I did this.

just downgrade to 1.5 and get the thing that makes u think u got 2.0, all good

Homebrew is any Non-Commercial Software beit Game's or App's I don't tink it's possible to post Links here. But, a quick Google search for 'PSP Emulation', should point you into the right direction as to what Homebrew is.
Homebrew however is NOT about running Commercial Games (i.e. *.iso's),. That's not Homebrew anymore that's Piracy, and it's wrong!!!
