nope, kinda impossable. Ps2 sells for 100$.
its going to sell for 200-300$
If it sells for 150$, it would be one bad bad system, with the rumered specs, its bound to cost 250$

no way kookoo you have no idea how much i hate you. of course its gonna be $150-100 its the only way it can possibly compete.
isint that what nintendo officials are hinting. also most nintendo head ups say their new compatition will be those games you hook right into your tv. besides nintendo is only gamecube 1.75
not to mention it is still using a flipper chip. there is no way the rev can be 250$ also for strategic reasons next christmas the price on x360 may be 250$ and maybe doa4 do you think many people would buy a rev if the x360 and rev were the same price.
also another interesting fact did you know that the rev is still the code name for the nextgen console they might as well just call it the rev now

Why would i care? Who are you? You are a nothing to me.
With rumered specs, 4 core at 2.4ghz, It wil sell over 100$. Do you not notice that ps2 sells for arround 100$? The revolution has features that the gamecube should of had. A controller like that is bound to increase the price for the revolution aswell. The revolution now includes a dvd player. +to price. With the ATI "hollywood" GPU, the revolution price will increase dramatically aswell. Not to mention that it comes with online play aswell.
I know why you say that the revolution will sell for 150$, you read some article and you believe what ever comes out of the journalists mouth. You got no facts to make your statement true. I do.
Nintendo isnt that stupid to sell there consol for 150$, they would loose far to much money.

KoOkOo67, where did you get that info. the revolution will not be close to being that powerful. Nintendo has said this several times. It is said that the rev. will be at a price point less than $200. Go to ign.com and read what nintendo, (yes the company it belongs to says about it).

Quote: Every developer was in agreement that Revolution should launch with a price tag of $149 or lower. Some speculated that based on the tech, a $99 price point would not be out of the question
You can find the complete article in the following link:
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/673/673799p1.html
It also states that the broadway CPU and the Hollywood GPU barely double their gamecube counterparts. That it will be using up to Dual Layer DVD's for storage and that it may not even reach 128MB of RAM. Considering it won't be offering HD resolutions it should be enough.

Not too much better than Xbox. Cpu speeds are still in the Mhz's not Ghz's. GPU clock is around 250Mhz. Not too sure about the RAM, but im not even expecting 128MB. There's a million different reasons to buy the wii, just as there are a million different reasons to buy the ps3, and the xbox 360.

No 3rd party support whatsoever. Red Steel was supposed to be a beast of a 3rd party game for Wii but the people who played it at E3 were utterly disappointed.

A quote I saw on another forum seems appropriate:
Quote: Fanboys talk about the system specs, gamers talk abut the games
After all that's what it comes down to, not how many pixels you can push or terraflops the system is capable of, it's the fun factor of the games. If I could afford it I would have all 3 systems. This generation I had a PS2 and Gamecube. I had fun with both, I would say my kids equally divided their time between them even though we had more PS2 games. I am not a Mario fan, but I did enjoy Mario Tennis and Mario Kart. I preferred games such as Metroid Prime, Battalion Wars, Pikmin, and Zelda. I think the Wii will also have some very fun games as well as unique games that can't be played in the same manner as the other systems. That might also hurt them to a point; a port could easily be made between the 360 and PS3, but to take advantage of the Wii's unique features a completely different game style would have to be created.
To answer the OP's questions, I think that the price will be $200-$250 at launch, under the 360 Core's $299 price. As far as connecting to the Wifi, you would need a wireless router for your DSL modem or an access point. The older games will be downloadable and playable on the Virtual Console of the Wii. I asume they will be stored in the 512mb of flash since most of the older nes/snes games are very small, ranging in size from 100k to 1.5m.

Perhaps you should specify and elaborate, instead of posting one line troll sentences.
But you are correct in that the Wii has less support than the ps3 and Xbox 360.
Recent news article taking it a step further:
http://games.kikizo.com/news/200605/076.asp
However, I think things might pick up since the e3 reaction to Wii was so positive. And if the Wii has some good initial success, than developers might give a little more support.

How could you ever compare a video game system to a home computer, they are way different. And I have no idea what YOU do with your remotes but I don't use mine like that.

Kudos, Xian. I was looking around for a similar list, but didn't remember any exact links. I don't know how old your info is, but as of now, the Wii is only making progress. Look at the majority of e3 blogs, analysts, etc; That list is bound to grow, even in the few months between now and the launch.

Speaking of D!ldoes...
There is a guide online somewhere about transforming a PS2 controller into a *real* D!ldo. That Vibrates. Its pretty funny. Google it if you want some pics.
