job control error in virtualdub

I have followed the dvd to avi article and am at the end. now i save both passes, then go to job control. both 1st and 2nd pass are there and i did check the box at the bottom when saving avi. when i hit start it imediatly gives me the error"sylia script error"-expected ')'-then it imediatly displays "done" in job control, what did i do wrong??? -any feedback would help, thanx-
