Have anyone use MPH Firmware launcher on PSP v1.50 to launch a file of firmware v2.00 or v2.50?
If so, can you play the GTA, SOCOM, HUSTLE in actual UMD?

Hmm, yeah i got it installed and working to the point of it not saking me to upgrade the psp to 2.0 when the demo disc is in there, but still doesn't boot the umd, i only got it to test the avc codec function, and after watching the nornal one on mine, and the avc version on my dad's 2.0 (it was trailer park boys xmas special, converted from my dvd) i didn't notice an iota of difference, and i mean at all, not even in the colour... . SO didn't bother chekcing to see if that worked, but the pic viewer wouldn't show my pics, so i couldn't set them asa background, and the browser doesn't work at all. That said other people have got the pic background theme thing working, so it is obviously possible, but between the fanjita guide and other one that automatically renames and places files, i was kinda lost to tell truth, first time ever following guides, so maybe i when i'm a bit moresober i 'll try it, but unlikely, i did a 2pass encode with the avc and it took twice the amount of time to encode, and looks exactly the same as my mp4 version on my 1.5, so don't know whats up with that.
Ofcourse i'm pretty sick of these gmaes on 1.5, once i get my hands on pursuit force and play that to death i think i'm going the upgrade route, need some longeveity games no?

Okay, just checked and he's released 1.3.7 now with supposed broswer support, and he reckons it works, will try it now, tho if it's the same guide i'm not holding my breath lol. If i do get it working i'll post a guide here, god knows we need more guides stickied here, what's goin on with that?

edit lol, i must have shitty timing, cause he says the other vrsion *the one i d/led) is the bad version and he apologies for posting it, fucken lucky it didn't screw my psp up lol, that's all i can say, so have lets have at it, should be a goer now hopfully.
Oh, and as for your question, if you read on his site or d//led and read the readme it's blatantly posted everywhere that umds don't work, and its' in the infantile stages still.

Thank you for you info.
So there is only one way to play the GTA, SOCOM, HUSTLE in actual UMD. It is to upgrade the PSP to v2.00

Unfortunately yes, i'm starting to hang to sink my teeth into gta, thought i could withstand it's charms, but each day the 2 gets bigger, and the 0 stares back into my soul. LOL.
