Psp is under the christmas tree. But I can't touch it until the 25th. sucks.

I am assuming that it will have the 2.5 firmware. What can I do with this. Can I copy movies and games onto a memory card and play them. From reading other threads it is saying that you cannot do this with the 2.5 firmware. Is this true. I also need to pick up a memory card what size does any one recomend and how much info can i store on this memory card.

If it has 2.5 then your stuck. You can still copy movies to memory stick but not games. As for memory stick size you can go 1gig or 2 gig.

1. You can put anything (movies, music, pictures) BUT homebrew games on 2.50. HB is only on 1.50 and below. You will miss out on ISO Loading aka backups or piarcy, and emulation (playing old games from snes, gba, genesis, atari...) and appz, games...

2. Movies on 1GB Stick: Depends on the quality, resolution, length... but you can put a couple of hours for top quality on a 1gb. OK quality 16:9 270x472 FF7: Advent Children (2+ hrs) is 370mb.

3. NONE come with 2.50 YET. (that 99.9% of the population know of.) Only 1.52 and 2.00, 2.01 if youre unlucky.

You can downgrade from 2.00 to 1.5 no more no less.
