What is swap magic, every time i try and burn a dvd using dvd dycypter, when i am on 91 percente (from dvd dycryter iso = write) it says an error. I have a DVD+RW I fully erase the disc and it says it aint emty, do i have to format or something pealse help. I am also wondering how to make copies of ps2 game, is swap magic to do with n e thing. What softwares do i need, what extra eqipment do i need. Is a boot disc got any thing to do with this please help. I tried using DVD Dycyter, iso - read on my ps2 game when it was on my HDD i went on mode - iso - write then it says it successfully done.
Checked on the computer it had data of the ps2 game, then on the ps2 nothin comes up. AND this disc is a DVD+RW What disc do i need bootdisc?

Here's what you need to do, the choice is yours because it's your money:

1) what version is your PS2 console?
2) are you heading with Swap Magic and Flip Top/Slide Card or Modchip?
3) Swap Magic cheaper, but you'll need to rebuild DVD9 games (roughly 2 - 5%).
4) mochip a little expensive, but you're set once you've the chip installed inside your PS2 console.
5) you CAN NOT play any PS2 backup games, unless you have the ABOVE mentioned.
6) you need High Quality media, my 3 top choices of High Quality media are: (1) genuine Taiyo Yuden (2) Verbatim "Advanced Azo" (3) Maxell (Hitachi Corp. - made in japan).
7) don't burned at any higher than 4X
8) what application did you used to burn your PS2 games?
9) if you're using DVD Decrypter to backup, then do as the following:

A) put original game inside dvd-rom drive or burner
B) MODE, ISO, Read R
C) select your "source" <-- where the original PS2 game is located
D) select "destination" <-- to your hard drive
E) click on DECRYPT (sit tight and go smoke or go watch TV and wait until it's completed)

F) put a High Quality media inside your burner
G) MODE, ISO, Write
H) select your "source" <-- browse to your hard drive and choose the MDS file
I) select "destination" <-- to your dvd burner
J) choose your burning speed at 4X
K) click on WRITE (sit back, go smoke or watch TV and wait until it's successfully completed)

That's it.... easy as smokin'!!!

Also, rw discs wont work once you do get a boot disc, etc.
