Okay as yall can tell in the last few days im building a network between two comps. But this is frustrating.

Okay I got my good comp and I want to play a music cd of the old crap secondary and it wont let me. I can use the secondary rom to install proggies or run a flash program off the music cd, but I cant play music. Unless I physically move the cd to the main comp where im trying to play it. So how do you do this? I did map the network drive, but even say clone cd dont recoginize the drive. Its in explorer, but wont let me play the damn music files.

you should be able to play music off the cd drive simply by having the drive shared but it doesnt work for installing programs

Well thats the problem. I have the drive shared and I can install proggies using the shared drive on the secondary comp, but cant play music off of it. Any ideas sypher?

Hey ddp do ya know? I was literally running a install cd of my printer drivers of the secondary comp, but I cant use the shared drive to play music. Is it a setting in my router?
