I use DVD Decrypt and PSP V9 to convert dvd's and get them on my PSP. My question is the file created by PSP V9 which is an MPEG4, can this be played on any other device besides a PSP? I was wondering if it could be put on a VCD or something then played on a DVD player.

Thanks...

um, i'm not sure, but at that res i don't think it's worth it matey, i do know that quick time will play back mp4's, but i'm pretty sure my DivX playing pioneer dvd player plays mp4, but haven't tried, i really don't see the point, it's literally going to be a small windowed box on yuor tv the same size as your psp, and zoomed it's going to be pixellated to all hell. That's my theory anyway..

Heh, i'm a dick, i've converted 3 movies, and the whole time i didn't even realise psp9 does it straight from the dvd lol. Pretty drunk right now, but thanks a lot for your question Juhnny, i'm checking now if it makes any diff to the quality from the way i was doing it lol. i guess i'm used to converting them from DivX is all..

LOL< i see why you use decryptor, forgot i even had it running, checked vback and one hour had lapsed, 5hrs to go lmao on a 1gig file. But yeah as i stated above, depends on your dvd player capabilities as to owhether it can play mpeg 4.
edit if your dvd player does do mpeg 4, holler back and let us know what the quality is like.

wow, the quality is awesome, much much better, and still the same size as the others.
