What is the normal cpu usage when running programme, mine runs at 100%. I would like to reduce this to say 50% is there a way to do this? I have tried changing priority in task manager but this makes very little difference.

you can also open up task manager, find the process under the "Processes" tab, right click the process and adjust its priority, but beware this is not for noobs, if you do something wrong you could mess something up
@andmerr that wrong was for you my man...

the best thing to do is to leave the program alone, let it take its due course and wait untill its finished then your cpu should return to normal :)

Hi gilera,
The latest Shareware Version of DivXtoDVD v1.99.24 let's you select the Priority Level for the conversion thread.
So you can set it to LOW and keep working on your PC !
VSO DivXtoDVD v1.99 Pre-Release will:
- Convert all your internet movies (.AVI / .MPG etc..) to DVD Format
- Add subtitles (using .srt files / More formats to come in future releases)
- Add chapters to each files
- Create a menu (Menu entry for each file, based on the filename, for now)
- Burn your DVD creation to media, with it's own built in burn engine
Keep your eyes open, VSO are about to release a Major Update to DivXtoDVD.
