Hi folks. Thank you so much for your replies to my thread about my problems with NeroVision Express 3, all is well and I was able to burn my compilation.
The current problem I'm having is that I recently picked up a used copy of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" from a local shop. I wanted to back it up (a habit I'm getting into now that I finally have a burner) but I'm having no success whatsoever in copying this DVD.
I have tried to use Nero Recode 2 to burn the main movie to the DVD, but it gets an error during transcoding ("Failed to Burn: Error %S"). I don't even get to the point of burning it onto my blank media. I tried to rip the main movie to Nero Digital, but I had the same result.
One of my error logs is below:

Today, I downloaded DVD Fab Decrypter, in hopes that it would be able to succeed where Nero failed. It did manage to rip the disc to the HD, but when I played it back in Nero Showtime, it was garbled and had terrible blocky pixelation and the prominent color of most of the frames was green. I'm not sure what this means, but I'm beginning to suspect it may be a bad disc.
When I play the disc normally in a DVD player, it seems to be fine, no problems, even the layer transfer is smooth. However, it should be noted that the bottom of the disc has been refinished with one of those scratch-remover products, and I'm wondering if this is the source of my DVD copy issues.
Thanks to the suggestions in my last thread, I am totally up-to-date with firmware, drivers, etc.

I'm thinking the same thing. The shop called me and said the two other movies (Raiders and Last Crusade) are ready for me to pick up, so I'll have to give them a shot once I get them to find out whether it is a bad disc.
