I bought a jap version 1.5 then upgraded to v2 so I could play a certain game I have tried and tried to downgrade but I can't I have followed all instructions but when I copy the overflow tif into my psp photo folder when I go to find it on my PSP after discconecting my USB connection in my photo it isn't there then after a few seconds the psp shuts down I leave it for 30-50 secs then turn it on it goes to the game folder I then go to mem stick click on the 1.5 but nothing it says "The system software on your PSP system is version 2.00. there is no need to update" what the hec is going on please help as I want to play homebrew games.

Some people have the same problem like yours. They said that they dl the EBOOT v2.00. Then transfer it to the memory stick and update it again. After that try to downgrade it to v1.50. And it works.

I never have this problem so I dont really know.
