Do I still need modChip or FlipTop for DL DVD media.

I just got some DL DVD blanks (Ritek), and my question is, if I back up the game on DL DVD (using Decrypter) do I still need the FlipTop or modChip to play the back-up game ?????

If it's not an originally pressed game, you will still need a mod chip to play it. Swap Magic (boot disc) won't load DL DVD's no matter what.
