UMD Emulator v.8 movie backup

Can't get UMD Emulator to play a backup UMD movie. I have tried:

ISO emulation mode: system menu
Disctype ISO: video
Disctype UMD: video
Regioncode override: on
Regioncode game: regionfree
Regioncode video: regionfree
Flash0 emulation: on
Flash1 emulation: on

and the screen freezes, or I get a 'region code' error on every .iso backup I have (3). I have tried different emulation modes, etc. and I still can't get the backups to work. Any help with this would be appreciated...
