Hi

I have an H2o modchip in my version 3 ps2. The metal gear solid 3 will boot but when it goes to the main menu all the icons just restart to the main menu. The game does this exactly the same with the real and burnt copies. My question is what is doing this? Is it the modchip? Please be quick with your help because I will only get a refund for this game in 1 more day. And I don?t want to keep a game that won?t work.

Lol, thats because metal gear solid 3, I got confused to when i pressed a button and it went back to the menu screen, you know why its going back to the menu screen, simple, you press the X button on your controller pad instead of (_) The circle button.

well my friend has the same problems it the PS2 you have a old version like my friend maybe I may be wrong but my friend has that game and doesn't work on his PS2 and I test it out with my silm ps2 and works fine so just refund your game and get your money back just keep the backup game for later on

Maybe because Your Friends metal gear solid has a bllue dye disc which wont work on his fat ps2, But killa can booot the game, hes just not pressing the circle button, hes pressing the X button which is the back button for Metal Gear Solid

your right but he has ver. like my friend but he modchip is different from killa I think it a magic plus 3+1 but like you say it may be that he just not pressing the circle button, hes pressing the X button which is the back button
