OK I HAVE A REGULAR STORE BOUGHT PS2 CAN I BURN GAMES AND PLAY THEM ON IT SOMEHOW? I KNOW HOW TO BURN THEM I JUST CANT GET THEM TO PLAY ON MY PS2

No, you will have to have a mod of some sort, whether it is a mod chip or a boot disc with extra tool (slide card, flip top, magic keys, etc).

Depends on what you want. If you want a mod chip, just google it and you should find numerous places that sell it. If you want to go the cheaper route (boot disc), you could get Swap Magic. Here is a link for Swap Magic: http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_Where_To_Buy.asp. If you get Swap Magic, you'll want to make sure that you also get the correct tool for your PS2: slide card/flip top for fat PS2's and magic keys/magic switch for slimline.

swap magic is excellent cos you don`t void the warrenty on your ps2 (unless you got the silver /ceramic version) the tools are a bit fiddly (slimline)but once they`re in it`s done .and it`ll work or most games !

if you go the mod chip route i`d get it installed by a pro unless you REALLY know what you`re doing with a soldering iron .

you can get swap magic and the tools you need on ebay for about £20 all in with the tools !!
