Are you using swap magic combined with a case mod or using a modchip?
Some people with modchips have reported that it won't work for them... while the people with swap magic, me included don't have any problems with this game at all.

Yep, that'd be my guess... just out of interest what was the media code on the ridata? you can find this out by looking in DVD Decrypter, Nero disc info tool or a few others.

Yeah, I told him that in the first place tokijin, man it sucks when people don't even read what you put, LOL.
I already said that it didn't need a rebuild with swap magic, but that some people with modchips aren't getting it to work for some reason.. just waht someone told me, can't confirm it as I don't have a modchip. If anyone HAS got a modchip and got this game to work please post here. thanks.
@solokid - good luck with the game

It probably works fine with modchips. Cheap media is probably the problem. A lot of people don't bother to read what we post, it's nothing new Paddymail. With some people you can post the answer in florescent green with a pentagram around it, they just don't read.

Nah, the guy that said it couldn't get it to work with a modchip knows his stuff... and uses really good media. I don't know if it was a rar he downloaded though, so could have been that I guess. I'd just like it confirmed or denied by someone else with a modchip to see if it was just one of those things or not.

I just rented Call of Duty 2 tonight, I'll post the results. I could care less about the game, but it was $2 and you got me curious, I'll let you know.

It works fine with my modchip. I have a Matrix Infinity v. 1.68. Maybe your friend has a crappy chip or the iso he downloaded is faulty. I ripped it to my HD with DVD Decrypter and burned it with DVD Decrypter at 4x on TYG02, the 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's. This game has some impressive visuals.

Yeah it's one of those things. Obviously if he has the DMS 4, it's not the chip. Hopefully he'll get it working.
