I have read multiple forum posts and none of them propely address my problem.

I have an australian PSP and in my blind haste ordered Sin City and Kill Bill UMD videos on Amazon. I then found that they wouldnt play citing 'wrong region'.

I have read multiple posts claiming that people have got around this problem using UMD emulator 0.8c. I tried this with several different setting and it failed to work. Is it possible to get UMD emulator or any other 1.5 Firmware program to run a alternate region UMD video?

I'm hoping i will not have to dump the video off the UMD.

Also, to all those saying that Spiderman 2 seems to work on any system, that is because it is REGION-FREE. No matter what it says on the box, it is region free!

Other information:
Ive heard that the video region is set within an alternate chip on the PSP and this will be extremely difficult to alter if at all. Is this true?
