Trying to burn DVD+R from DVD-RAM

I have copied TV shows from my DirecTV TIVO DVR onto DVD-RAM discs with a Panasonic ES40 recorder. Now I place the DVD-RAM disc into my PC, the DVD contains a DVD_RTAV folder with 3 files;
VR_MANGR.BUP
VR_MANGR.IFO
VR_MOVIE.VRO (size 2,893,806kb)

I want to burn to a DVD+R to watch at a later time then reformat the RAM for another TIVO-RAM download. I've got 4 RAM discs containing 1) The Santa Clause movie broadcast on DirecTV, 2) An episode of Desperate Housewife, and 3&4) contain copies of home movies transfered from VHS to RAM.

When I use NERO 6 Ultra Edition Recode-2 function to "Recreate an Entire DVD", "Recode Main Movie to DVD", "Remake a DVD", etc. NERO keeps telling me that "This DVD is copy-protected!", and doesn't allow me to burn to a DVD+ or DVD- disc.

Can someone tell me how to copy from the RAM .VRO format to a .VOB format that will play in other DVD players.
