What kind of media did you use? Don't use cheap media. My top 3 choices of media are: (1) genuine Taiyo Yuden (2) Verbatim "advanced azo" or "datalife plus" (3) Maxell (made in japan by Hitachi Corp.) I've been burning over a thousands using those 3 kinds and it has never let me down. Regardless if it's PS2 games or dvd movies, they all play flawlessly.

However, if it's a PS2 DVD9 base game, then you'll need to rebuild so it can fit onto a 4.7GB single layer disc. Check out my "easy & simple" guide on how to rebuild DVD9 PS2 games" http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350

On the other hand, if it's only 4.5GB or under than you can simple use DVD Decrypter to do the following:

- MODE, ISO, Read R and DECRYPT (to your hard drive, and wait until it's completed)

- now put high quality media inside your burner
- MODE, ISO, WRITE (and browse/locate the files from your hard drive
- choose the MDS file (and set your burning speed to 4X)
- click on WRITE (that's it...sit back unitl it's done)

Good luck and happy burning!!!

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

My NASCAR 2006 works fine. I backed up it on Taiyo Yuden TYG02 and Ritek G05 for my friend who has Swap Magic. I have a modchip and both copies work fine. I made my copy from a rental. I rebuilt it with Nero and IsoBuster, but that isn't necessary, just a precaution I took for some EA games. Try a straight burn with DVD Decrypter on good media, like Alkohol suggested.
