Somebody Please help me!!! cant connect to xbox live service

On my original 360 i was able to geto n live no problem. But i had some other problems with the console so i sent it back and my new console arrived today. For some reason i cannot connect toxbox live. I pass all the test ( IP test DNS test and the other two cant remember the names but i pass them) the when it does the xbox live test it somehow fails. I clicked on more info and they said that this shouldonly happen if one of the previous 4 test fail but they all pass. I have called Microsoft support 3 times andn o one could fix the problem all they could tellme is that shouldnt be happening or your service doesnt support xbox live but like i said I was on live two weeks ago with the service i have now. Anybody know what the problem might be??

try restarting your modem after you have it plugged into the x360.

WHat would i say to them? with my original 360 I hooked it up on live first time i tried witout a single problem so what would i ask my ISP when i call them?

tell them your trying to connect to a service and it won't connect, then tell them the test that it runs and what it responds and see if it's a problem w/ your isp blocking something. or maybe a defunkt modem or maybe ur 360 has a problem again.

ok, i have good news, you arent the only one. i got my 360 and it ate my disc and cracked it all up, I sent it back got a new one just like you, (the first didnt have any problems connecting. I plugged in a BAM! it was on LIVE) So i have my new Xbox 360 they sent me, i have talked to 6 techs on the phone, 2 hung up on me. I was on the phone for over 3 hours trying to resolve this. They told me that they were going to have a high end tech call us to get it smoothed out. So if we fix it ill PM you, or just post it here. If you figure out, plz give us insight. Well no one could solve my problem and after spending a total of 7 hours on the phone with these clowns i just gave up. I took the 360 back to circuit city (not being able to connext to live wasntt he only problem it froze just like my firsto ne did) and they gave me my money back even with the change in serial numbers and they promised me they would hold a console for me from the next shipment and call me to come pick it up. Hopefully they are able to fix ur problem but they couldnt do a damn thing for me

It has to be something on their side, b/c the first one worked fine. So, what did you tell circut city? i dont think Walmart will be as friendly...

I just told them the console was freezing and i was having trouble connecting to xbox live etc and i showed them the paper i got from microsoft with the "repaired" 360 that said it was a replacemnt model and had a new serial number and they said ok no ptoblem and gave me my money back it was very easy i was surprised
