2 questions concerning ripping internet radio stream

1 = what is the best program to rip internet radio streams , and which program is best to rip yahoo launchcast plus radio

2 = how do i retreive the numeric url info from a website( example: http://72.4.161.173:9977))

Re your questions:

1. I use Replay-Music, which records each track as an mp3 file and does a fair job of identifying the songs - say 85 percent or better, depending on what you're ripping. I have not recorded Internet radio stations - just the stream from various music services, such as MusicMatch, Launchcast, etc.


2. http://getanyip.com/

You could have found #2 yourself by doing a Web search.

are there any Freeware programs that mirror Replay Music that will record internet streams( ie Launchcast ; Musicmatch), and also auto ID the track
