I burned shaolin monks with write speed 4x on "FujiFilm DVD-R Video Discs 8x". When I fight Shang Tsung at the last level, when he transforms from a different character back to himself, the game freezes 1/2 second and when i done input the fatality move, it frozed for 5 seconds and then went back to normal.

Should i burn at 1x write speed? (It's a Fuji disc made in Japan, got it from a Dollar store lol)

might want to try a different media, why don't you go to a store buy a 5 pack of dvd maxxell, sony, verbatim,ritek g04, tayo yuden

i notice some buzzing on my ps2, i fixed it and shaolin monks kept making buzzing noises in my ps2

buzzing? like the disc was rattling around inside of the disk tray? or the laser was making alot of noise from the use of cheap media discs?
what you could to see if this works
take some scoth tape
tear two peices off about 3 inches
place 1 on the edge of the inner cd but do not lit go over the edge not at all. then place the second one parallel in the same opposite spot. it should make in H (with the open ring making the inner line)
