All I have is a CD burner NOT a DVD burner to work with and the net can I still make back up ps2 Games and DVDs,VCD's,and play back up PS1 games ? what are methods of instiation? I remember reading somthing about opening what I got off the net with a (RAR?)..
Please Help Anyone who can..

okay well I have this program called "PSX hack" it says if I burn regular 80min/700mb cds I can makea disk to gat around everything...Im trying to Find a Prgram without havenig to get expensive DVD's since I dont even have a CD burner. ThnX

Im thinking this wil work..ie: download propper burn program,burn@4x , Download Swap Magic but I m not sure ow to install it and use a slide tool ..WIll that work? Im trying to get games via limewire ect. Mahalo

brah..where is everyone? I was wondering how offten people get on here Im still stuck with no solid reply PLEASE HELP
at least to jus be able to burn movies would be cool
But how do I re format a DVD to fit on a Quote:
plain CD?
there are answers and I have found that there is a new version of Swap Magic out.. are there not any other programs prviding the same function?.. at the risk of bieng redundant.. the info I read says the disk bought has specifications to make it stop for a slid tool but isnt it possible to get around all the smoke and lights?
PS2 Swap Magic CD Version 3.6 seems to be what Im after.. anyone who will any one bestow there abundance of knowladge on to me..maybe even befor christmas ???? big ups..Big Thanx

A lot of questions, so I'll try to cover them all.
If you want to play backups, you will need a mod chip or Swap Magic. If you choose swap magic, you can go here for instructions: http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_Feature.htm. In order to play PS1 backups, you will need to get Breaker Pro: http://www.breakerpro.com/. For both of these, you will need the original discs. They will not load if you burn them.
To burn the backups, you can use DVD Decrypter, Alcohol 120% or Nero. I'd (personally) recommend Nero for CD's.
*Without a DVD burner, it is going to be very hard to accomplish this. There are some games that fit on to a cd, but not a whole lot. You might want to look into getting a DVD burner. You can get a very good one for around $40.

Brah ThanX that clears up like everything .. and yes it will take some time but I am thinking it is now the time to invest the money into my PS2 .. Will breaker Pro and Swap Magic play burnt VCDs,DVDs too? Is torrents free? I want to get in-theater-now boot legs. Can I get Nero for free and Burn it to a CD as well as DVD Decrypter, Alcohol 120% cuz I tried but alcohol says it needs a licence number ? oh yeah and ehhhmm.. what are some good brands of DVD burners for a lap top if you kow of any.. 2) can I watch movies and play games on my PC with jus an emulator if so what do I need to get?

Are my entrys okay now? I hope so... brah do you know how to burn VCDs with a CDr and regular CD burner to play on my Mod-Playstation Original? I have the Mod expasion thing on it alredy I jus dont know how to format and burn VCDs to CD, what program can I use?..Mahalo
