using psp set 0.7 to change my firmware to version 2 can i then get back into it and change it back to 1.5

yes you can upgrsde a 2.00 and then downgrade again if you want to a 1.5 (to play homebrews on)

Yeah you can, i use psp set 0.9, lol i can't remember why i installed it, (wolfwood, it's a software program that tricks the psp into thinking it's actually using the other firmware) but the only thing i own that asks for the update is the demo disc that came with my 1.52, and when it's set to 2.0, it boots the demo disc from a cold boot, whereas before it would ask me to upgrade, so it works in taht respect, but it won't work if the game is requires the codecs or otherfiles only present in the 2.0 firmware, it basically just gets rid of teh upgrade required message, a lot like what umd emulator etc do for games that pester for 2.0, but don't really require it.

As wolfwood mentioned, you'll have to do the proper upgrade if you want to play socom or gta etc.

So, yes you can change back to 1.5 using psp set, i have just this afternoon, i prefer that message coming up instead of booting the demo disc each time lol. But you won't be able to play 2.0 fw dependant games using this alone.
