Actually I don't get the video. I mean the guy has his PSP hooked up, and then he places Perfect Dark Zero in his 360. Where's the hack?!! Was the disc supposedly a back up? I can barely see this.

i dunno, from what i make of it he somehow triggers the 360 using the PSP (usb exploit maybe) and the disc he puts in is clearly a TRAXDATA DVDR.
Just came across the link, dunno any more info bout it.

this hack works because of the xbox 360's network capabilitys
if you remember the xbox 360 allows people who own a windows xp based computer to stream music and other files wirelessly or networked to the xbox 360 so all someone would have to do is run a windows emulator on a psp with firmware 1.50 to 2.00 and it probly would work
from what i have seen from this video i doubt it though and the main reason i doupt this is because if you notice there is no usb cable connected to the xbox for the psp ??? maybe wireless???

also one big note
did you notice that he didn't play the game
which basicly means
it most likely will load but won't run games
and on another note this came from a mexican web page and so if you can read spanish click the link below the video playing

There is a split in the video after he places the so called ripped game in, which if you see it you realize that there is a delay and something was edited. its fake

have you heard of degrading signal strength
if you post a video and try to watch it on a slower dsl or dial up connection and even some broadband connections like comcast you will always have some kind of pause or jerk from the video

looks like it rejects the disc after that intro, or it could be a DVD-R copy of just the intro w/ some extra stuff at the begging in japaneses

I can help you with the spanish. After he inserts the disc in what I believe is the live screen(I don't have a 360) it says "Leyendo" roughly translated to 'reading'.
Then after the intro it says "jugar al juego", that means 'play the game'. This probably means that he had the option to keep playing the game and that the disc that was inserted at the time was not rejected.
Also in what I believe is the live screen it reads "XBOX Live; Juegos, torneos, entretenimiento, todas las recompensas. Posiblilidades Infinitas ¿A que esperas?", that means 'XBOX Live; Games, tournaments, entertainment. All the rewards. Endless posibilities. Whar are you waiting for?'.
Can't help you with the japanese, though.

The DVD-R he put in was just a short movie clip that he recorded and put on the disc. It's not the actaul game he put in, just a short homemade DVD-Movie.

Notice I said that the disc inserted at the time wasn't probably rejected, but I didn't say anything about the video not being fake. The video might be edited, maybe they used the two 360's trick that has been mencioned. Guess we'll have to wait a few more days to know if it really works.

I will go on the record and say that its totally fake! Clearly it cant be real but that would be a pretty kool thing if you could hack it with a psp. The first hacks will be via hardware (Modchips) in my opinion. However if its softmod that would rule.
