Hey all, I get a green smiley face after setting up port forwarding and such things, however I still don't get any download rate at all. It just turns orange and when I try to force start it has a little ! next to it. Any ideas?

It happens on all the torrents that I have downloaded so far.
I'm using the latest version 2.3.0.6, and I'm not sure about public or private tracker. I'm still new to this whole concept.
I port forwared to my firewall, and even got to the stage where I've turned it off. Its only windows xp firewall so its pretty simple going by all the other posts. I'm using ports 54000 and 55000

Ok , public trackers are , thepiratebay torrentreactor and sites you dont have to reg with

private is where you have to register and the speeds are faster

never turn your firewall off !!!

Hey sorry guys, we had a blackout and I couldn't do anything. I've had to come to work now, so I won't be back on my home PC til later.
Yes I downloaded the torrent from a public site, from isohunt.
I'll give that port a try and get back to you when I finish work.
Thanks for your help!

Sorry again guys. The blackout caused a few issues with my computer, so i've only just got it back running. Hence the delay. I've also tried the port number and its working fine now for some reason? Its downloading at around 20kb/s. Is that about right?
