if your in the uk i believe you will recieve a v2.01 as they all seem to be them. or if your lucky there are still 2's floating about

I wasn't aware that there were any proper v2.0's in Europe. Besides possibly the Ceramic White that is!! Considering that most European PSP's? were sold as v1.52, and came with a v2.0 Update on the Demo UMD?.
Considering the speed at which v2.0 was broken (about a Month),. I don't see why S0NY? should have even botherd to stamp out there Lines with anything less then the v2.01 Firmware installed. At this time it's more likely to either be that or a v2.50... I think v2.60 is still rather to young to have landed directly on any circulateing Retail Units, but that too is likely to change soon enough...

Wow you won a psp, thats lucky huh!
If it is in the UK then you will most likely recieve with v2.01 as I think thats all that can be bought now over here. You will need to download v2.60 as I don't think that is included with any of the psp's yet (maybe it comes with some new games), and your most likely screwed for homebrew untill some kind of new fix is out, just like me :(
I'm not sure what would be better - sticking with 2.01 in the hope of a fix coming out for that or upgrading to 2.60 so you have wma support.

Quite a few useless things really, but one benefit is that it adds wma playback as well as mp3 (but needs internet connection to activate).

DAMN POST office screwed it up i was meant to get it yesterday but wasnt there to collect then when i go to the office they its been sent out again and now im at home waiting for my psp

yea that always happens to me, they deliver when im at work then I cant pick it up untill the weekend when it has sometimes been sent back by then!

ya bs shipping these days. I was tracking a package it said it was out for delivery from my local ups, and then at 10pm on the tracking when it should of arrived at 10am it said missed at pick up will ship next business day. They forgot to put it in the truck stupid.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |

Hmm idk maybe ill get a 1gig but im not all that into hacking psp all that much. I just want it for music, and ill just buy some games.

i dun know about you but today i went to the mall and every store that sell psp, all the firmwire is still 1.5... other then sony store which is 2.0 so any ideas?

i won my psp too!!! (off the radio)
when the psp first came out, i thought it was really cool but there was no way i would spend $250 for it. but now i have it, and although i still have to spend a fortune for video games, it's awesome!
the psp is so much smaller in real life than on tv!

I hate my post office for doing this they said come tommorow to collect it and guess what they send it out again by the time i come home what do you know i missed the postman and know im going to go for ''collection'' today but still i cant be angry i got it free ;-)

lol for sure, you're lucky man, i bought me and dad one for xmas, mine was a 1.52, his a 2.0, plus 2 x 2gb mem sticks and 3 games, you do the maths lol. Hope you enjoy it man, they're great fun to play with, games and homebrew alike.

Want to guess what happened?
I came to the post office and guess what they said its been delivered wtf i tell them i still have the claim receipt and that i could not possibly of have recieved the psp
they told me to go to the main post office which doesnt open till 29th december and its meant to be an xmas present
I personally think they stole it
