AR MAX with modchip

i got a 75002 ps2 slimline about a couple of days old, it's already chiped, but my modchip guy says that he cant guarantee that AR Max would work. so it didnt, this is my 3rd ps2, i previously had a 35002 chipped and ar max work fine( after another wire was installed ). so anyone know what i can do or tell my modchip guy to install any wire in perticular. ive try to back up max with dvd decrypter but it wont reconised the disc as a dvd. I have a myth chip installed and thats all i know.
