I'm not so sure about Mafia, but to verify if it's a DVD9 or DVD5 base game is... you simply insert the original game into your dvd burner or dvd-rom drive. Double click on My Computer, right click on where your game is located, then click on properties, and it should tell you how many GB is the game.

If it's under 4.5GB then all you need to do is do a ISO, Read to your hard drive and ISO, Write using DVD Decrypter and choose the MDS file to burn that's all. You can also burn/back it up with Nero Express as well.

A good rule of thumb is to use high quality media such as genuine Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "Advanced Azo" or "DataLifePlus" and Maxell (made in japan by Hitachi Corp.)

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Personally, I don't like TDK - TDK maybe decent, but it's not on par with YUDEN, Maxell (Made In Japan by Hitachi) and Verbatim. I've burned very few TDK (roughly 10 - 15) using for both dvd movies and PS2 games. I can say that its quality is a little bit lower than YUDEN, Maxell and Verbs. My nephew backed up most of his PS2 games on TDK before and sometimes it won't even load right. So I told him about Yuden, Verbs and Maxell, since then his problem stops. However, the choice is yours.

Additionally, I hang out everywhere here at AfterDawn from the Nero forum to DVD Shrink, to DVD+R/-R Newbies and DVD+R/-R Media and I've seen tons and tons of Ritek and TDK failure when burning using Nero.

Again, the choice is yours... I'm NOT dissin' TDK, it's just that they're not my choice that's all. If you want to look deeper, then I suggest you go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/262544

Have fun burning and happy holiday!!
