HI guyz, I have this codebreaker9.iso...(CD-R)and I'm trying to get it to work, I use Alchol to burn it at the slowest speed, and good media, but don't know why it doesn't work...I use swap magic 3.3 and booted it up, and it's only got a black screen and nothing happen, I burned it 3 different way, 1st - DAO/SAO 2nd - RAW 3rd - I use a DVD+R to burn it....none of them work, and I'm pretty sure it use only CD-R....anybody got experience on it and made it work?? please help....thx...

i downloaded codebreaker v9 once and i burned it to a cd-r at a slow speed. It didnt work. Just for the heck of it i burned it at my burner's fastest speed, 40x. To my surprise, it worked. I then did it again, at 40x and that copy worked. so try that.

How I did it to work on Dvd. I first burned the image to cd just to see if it worked at 40x. It worked so I put the cd disc into the computer cd drive and tried to use Alcohol 120% to copy the image but Alcohol gave me an error. I opened up the cd drive and copied all the images to a folder on the desktop. I added a dummy file 2gb and rebuilt the image to make an iso the same way you would if rebuilding a ps2 game. Used alcohol to burn the iso to dvd and so far it works.

wher did u get the image from??
and did u get the dummy file from
i have codebreaker 9 image file i downloaded it it was 536mb but when i rebuilt it,it was 41mb is this wright i burned it to a dvd via Nero used swap magic to boot it got the the playstation 2 logo then screen just went blank

I used a Dummy generator to create a dummy file. Add the dummy file to the 536mb file and then rebuild it.

this did not work so do any of u no how to copy codebreaker to dvd
i do own the oringnalbut i have used it so much will not work on my ps2 anymore
so plese help me stuck on a few games with no codebreaker

iso buster add the 2gb dummy file then drag & drop to Nero burning rom iso/udf
burn to dvd
boot swap magic use fliptop enter codebreaker press x
screen turns black nothing happens
used 10 dvds now and noting works.

I used a cdgen program and an iso builder. I am not infront of the computer that has the software so I am not sure the exact names of the programs. Since you are using SM, I am not sure how codebreaker is to work with SM. I have used Nero before and the way you are doing it sounds right. Has anyone else made a backup onto a dvd?
