First post and already making trouble :}

Here come's the problem: My Radiata Stories Iso is 4,5 gig big, but when I open it with IsoBuster I only see three files.

IOPRP300.IMG 269 Kbytes
SYSTEM.CNF 0,06 Kbytes
SLUS_212.62 506 Kbytes

I can't use CDDVDROM because it says the file is too small (Less than 5000)
and when I use Expert, I get an Image that is aprox. 2 megabytes big.

What is this about and how to solve it?

Well, the other way I've found to rip discs is to use apache3(beta or trial version) - This way that I did it worked for godzilla save the earth game that wouldn't rip with DVD Decrypter, and I tried to rebuild with iso buster and cd/dvd gen and it wouldn't work that way either.

I got an original of godzilla save the earth (ps2 dvd disc), when I tried to copy the iso to hard disc it kept having read errors with DVD Decrypter, tried iso buster and cd/dvd gen and got the "too short sector length" error or something... so I got it to work by using apache3(trial version) that I've had for a while, inserted the disc in there and there's an option create an iso from cd/dvd so did that... put the iso onto dvd using nero's "burn image program" and it worked!!!
Just so you know though, this game is HEAVILY padded out.. You could rebuild the iso with gnie's rebuilding tool and the actual game size is only 690MB's..

That way might work for you if it's the same kind of problem. good luck with it :)

If the iso is the size the first guy said, then yes it will need to be rebuilt.. I think it's like that game I said about and has a false LBA, so try my way and see if it works...it's really simple to do.

@dadogama ONLY - PM me with your e-mail and I'll send the program to you if you can't find it anywhere else.. don't forget to say what it is you want in your PM though, I can't remember everyone that I'm trying to help and what they might want ok?

I downloaded Radiata Stories and it was a straight burn for me. I have a modchip. I haven't read reports of this game needing rebuilt. What kind of media are you using?

Doh!! - Yep, thanks Tokijin, I'm not with it this morning.. also could be your media as Tokijin suggested.

How big is the actual iso then Tokijin? - I hate it when I get conflicting information, LOL... and does it only have those 3 files in it?..which would be weird!!

@dadogamma - what files do you have in the iso? use iso buster and list them for us can you please.

You need to get better media and try it again.. cmc mags are not good at all.

I can't do much to help you if you use crappy media.. there's always gonna be problems with your burns.

let me know how you get on with it once you have tried better media.

good luck

I thought you meant you'd already bought them.. in that case I'd go for the 8x discs instead.
where are you getting them from?

My version of Radiata Stories is 4.28GB's. I'm quite sure the CMC Mag media is responsible for the problems, as Paddymail suggested. My original copy of Radiata Stories was burned to CMC Mag media. That was of course before I knew the evil's of CMC Mag media. I use TYG02 now, the 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's. I copied it to Ritek G05. The Nero CD/DVD Speed quality score is 98 with a quick scan. It would most likely be a couple a points lower with the full scan. I think your games will run fine on good quality MCC media. Verb's are just a notch below TY's in my book.

I found on another site a few people were having problems with the same dvd writer you have, and some of them got better results from upgrading the firmware... try here:- http://download.aopen.com.tw/userdownload_List.aspx?RecNo=9380&Mo...
