Swap Magic 3.6 weird problem...

Ok so I'm importing Kingdom Hearts 2. While I wait for it to arrive, I found a d/l of the game at solops. Anyway i installed this into my PSTwo Slim SCPH-70012

Now, I burned the ISO with Alcohol onto a DVD RW. I tried using swap magic 3.6 both DVD and CD discs and neither work. It works with any regular PS2 game disc, but not the burned DVD RW of KH2. What am i doing wrong?
Another thing that I don't understand is... Once i boot the PSTwo with either CD/DVD swap magic disc, as soon as i lift the tray up and put in another disc and close the lid it immidieatly states in blue text that it's not a valid PS2 game disc or something of that sort. But how would it know that if it hasn't even had a chance to read it? And it does that with even my regulas PS2 game discs, I don't get it, can someone help? Thank you so much in advance!!!
BTW i did try looking through the forums but I couldn't find any straight answers, some said DVD RW won't work, others say it works fine...

my swap magic did this at first with the whole thing about not being a valid PS2 disc or whatever. the best way i got mine to work is to barely lift the lid up to change the disc out and be gentle when removing the swap magic disc. i have no clue as to why this works so well, but it works everytime for me. give it a shot.

Just out of curiosity, you also have the Swipe Magic 3.6 and the SCPH-70000 PS2? Have you successfuly got a game u burned to a DVD RW work? Thanks! I'm gonna go ahead and try your trick now..

DVD-RW's don't work with the PS2. Use quality DVD-R's.
1. Q. How do I burn PS2 games?
A. Use DVD Decrypter. Guide: http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/dvddec/dvddec.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R.
2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?
A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/240341
If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, Dynex, Princo, Bulqpaq, etc.

So DVD RW really don't work at all huh? Where can i get DVD Decrypter? I looked in a lot of places but it seems to of been pulled down.

I actually found that DVD-R or DVD-RW's dont work at all. Only DVD+R work for me. If you still cant get them to work you can buy backups from this site: http://imanidiot.com edited by ddp
I bought a game from them and it worked for me.
They are like $6.75 a game.

A. That's against the rules. B. Why would you buy backups when anybody with a DVD burner and high speed internet can make them for free. C. Lol DDP, good to see the mods have a sense of humor.

Well... I burned KH2 to a SONY DVD+R 4x speed and i'm getting the same results... is there something i'm not doing right?

Well, i'm trying everything i can think of... and nothing... is there anyone else that has had this kind of problem? I made a backup of my US Dragon Quest 8, and that won't work either, but the original will work fine obviously... I'm getting very frustrated with this thing :-\
