K everybody i have 384k DSL so wut kind of speeds should i be getting (Im going through a router but it's ports are forwarded) with Azureus I get 16 kbs download and like 14kbs unpload on average wiht bitcomet 20 k for both. Post your thoughts/results.

Your max is somewhere close to 45 KB/s so if you are using public trackers id say that 20 KB/s is excellent.

Yeah even when i use private trackers with well seeded files.

Ok i just tried another test wiht a bigger file and now here what I got

Download Speed is:: 2226 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 326X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.46 sec

Appears your firwall/antivirus is messing the test up , you need to disable temporarily but remember to enable again , this will give your true speed

Used "smart test" or whatever its called heres the results

Thats seems alot better for your connection now , it seems that really you are not gonna get any faster speeds than 20/40kb/s unless you change your broadband speed :)

so yeah 20kb/s seems quite a good speed for your connection

Thanks a bunch bro, about the diagnosis does theat mean that im being stacked up agaisnt others using tds metrocom with a faster broadband service or does that only apply to people using tds.net with 384k DSL?
btw any suggestions on clients,client settings, or router settings that you think would make it faster/keep it closer to 40 kb/s?
