I just got a PSP, but i dont know what version is it, where do i check what version firmware is it? also, i mainly got it to watch movies, which i already know how to convert them to MP4, and add them to the PSP. But i've been trying to change the background and i dont know how to do this, ive been reading other posts but is like if i was reading chinese, they talk about so many different programs, and im lost.

1. converting movies to mp4 = i know, adding them to the psp. PLease correct me if im wrong. create a video folder inside the memory and just transfer the movie from my pc to the psp right?

2. changing background.... here im lost, i read somewhere else u gotta change the firmware or something like that, download a program to personalize the psp, please if anyone knows how to do this, or has a step by step guide, i would really appreciate your help.

well ill answer ur first question, if you go into system settings on the far left of the PSP menu you'll find information about your version.

it says version 1.52, which version is it that im going to need to do all these changes to the psp?
