Can someone please be kind enough to help everyone stuck on doing the xenosaga 3 disk rip kit tutorial. I am pleading someone to come up with a step by step guide to that 3 disk rip kit tutorial. Me being one of many people that don't know how to do it can someone please help?

Please include the use of programs and how to use it please?

I'll tell you the honest truth. The one and only 3-disk rip kit out there doesn't work very well. There actually IS a guide to backing up Xenosaga (the first one) but it's actually quite complicated.

Xenosaga is one of about 7 or 8 games that have this kind of problem. You see, a lot of dual-layer games have some serious problems, and Xenosaga was one of those that was never sorted out.

I highly suggest you just buy a used copy of the game. You can find one used for less than $10 at most game stores. It's either that, or you can spend hours upon hours following the guide on this site, and burning quite a few coasters along the way.

Sorry to be discouraging like this, but this problem was actually discussed over 3 different forums, and an agreeable solution was never reached.

Really, save yourself the hassle for this one, and just buy the game. It's old, and nobody plays this game a second time through, you should be able to find it easily and for cheap.

sorry to correct you RemyK313 but the xenosaga rip kit does work. admittedly the kit has problems but only getting the first disc to work. i used the kit and the 2nd and 3rd disc worked perfectly. after wasting 20 dvds and trying different methods i got the first disc to work by only slightly deviating from the ripkit. i only just finished the game the other day, so there is hope for this game, you just have to be willing to have patience.

Oh really? People never really talked about it. So, what did you do differently that FINALLY got your first disc to work?

Yeah, the first disc had some serious problems, and since I didn't have a save file at all, I could never test it past starting a new game.

Could you please explain what you did to get the first disc to work?
