I have removed the tick from confirm reformat of dvd+rw but still nero keeps asking if i wish to erase the info on the disc.i
I have restarted the pc but it still does it.

Have i overlooked something and or another option elsewhere.

Using version 7.0.0.0

Please advise.

Thanks for the reply but since i posted the original i have upgraded to 7.0.1.4b but it still does the same.
I have also noticed that when you first open Nero it always shows the cd compilation page and i have to choose dvd from the drop down menu.Only to find that when you open it again later it is back on the cd section again and not the dvd section.
This never happened in version 7.0.0.0 as if you used say the dvd compilation then did your stuff and then shut it down it would remember so next time you open it up it would be on the dvd compilation page, but for some reason it dont happen now but always goes back to the cd compilation page. This is a real pain if you only use this programme to do dvd`s like i do.

Do you have InCD installed?

Did you use Nero Clean Tool before upgrading to version 7 (did you use version 6 before?)

No i do not have INCD installed.

No i did not use Nero clean tool before upgrading.

Yes i was using version 6 before.

When i started to install version 7 it said it would version 6 before installation and let it remove 6 then install 7.

What can i do about clean tool if i have updated to 7.0.1.4b now.

Uninstall it, use the Clean tool and then a registry cleaner (if you have one). Re-install the latest version.

Unistal Nero completely.

Use clean tool.

Then run registry cleaner.

Then install 7.0.1.4b.

This should then make it work ok.

Where do i get the clean tool from,is it within Nero ????

I have uninstalled Nero.
Run clean tool.
Run incd tool.

Reinstalled Nero 7.0.1.4b
Taken tick out of confirm reformatt of DVD+RW.

Run Nero and click on burn starts to do its thing "looking good so far " but then stops with error message saying,,
MEDIUM FORMAT CORRUPTED.
COULD NOT START OF DISC AT ONCE.
BURN PROCESS FAILED.?????????

Put a different rewritable disc in and started again but did not get the error message this time but was asked if i wanted to erase it even though in the settings i said not to ask.
This is what i had before and now still happens after a fresh install etc.
I will burn this disc and reply here with the cd / dvd compilation first page again.

Still asking if i would like to erase dvd media in drive even though told not to ask.

Any help most welcome.
