Newbie Alert! Bought PSP last weekend, ceramic white ver 2.0... after reading the manual, and going through the topics here, i still cant mange to add files to my PSP. tried mp3s, movies, and even jpgs! it says something about an error with the I/O. Please HELP! Thanks!

Put the card in your psp.

Go to system settings

Go to "Format memory stick"

Connect to your pc

The folders should be there

Go into PSP then music

Copy and paste music files into the folder.

Ok first off I'm guessing you allready formated your MemoryStick?. So skip it!

Do you have a USB Cable?? Like the kind that come with most Digital Cameras', if not your Going to need One. Should you have a Multi-Card Reader (e.g. a 9-in-1) that, can read MemoryStick Duos'? then you can just use that. To read write Files to your MemoryStick?.

All your stuff will land up in the PSP\* Directory(ies)

GAME Homebrews' or *.iso's \ Loaders
MUSIC ~Firmware dependent~ v2.60 has *.wma support that does not exist with earlier versions.
PHOTOS Hear you can store your Photos. v2.0+ you can use your Photos as Wallpaper Backgrunds.
SAVEDATA This may be used latter when (if), the GTA:LSC Game Save Hack ever gets released.

I've already formatted the stick, when i try to copy music or photos to their respective folders, i get this error:

The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.

or this

Could not copy file due to an I/O error

Please help, i didnt know PSP can be this frustrating / complicated.
