after loading up VCD GALAXY i get the following error:

Access violation at address 0045d2c3 in module "DVDDECRYPTER.EXE".read of address ffffffff

could some1 give us a clue to whats the problem please?

To put it short -- your version of DVD Decrypter doesn't like your system setup. Locate the DVD Decrypter installation directory (use Find or whatever) and try to replace the installation with the latest. I don't remember exactly did the VCDGalaxy use DVD Decrypter v2.XX or v3.XX. In case it uses v2.XX, you should be able to find the latest from http://www.flexion.org/ and if it uses v3.XX, you can download the latest version from here:

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm

...this _should_ help, but can't guarantee anything, obviously.
