Gonna need some more info. Do you have a mod for your PS2? What speed is your media and what speed do you burn at? What program are you using to burn the games?

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/259416 but i do get every time the same fold that my dvd is not a valid ps2 disk.
I use the swap magic stuff.

they are dummy files, a file that just takes up more space on the disk, it has no use for most games, but they use dummy files to strech the important data to the outer side of the disk so it can be read more easily.

Just to add one more thing, if the speed of your DVD's is 4X, try burning them at 2X or 1X.

As far as modification, do you have the slide tool, magic keys, magic switch or something else?

Yes, you have all the correct equipment by the sounds of it....
The media you have should be ok.. but I'd recommend to get 8x DVD-R instead of 4x.. and then burn them at 4x using DVD Decrypter.
For the moment though, with the 4x dvd-r's that you have.. try burning them at 2x as Jamaal said earlier and see how that goes... if it doesn't work then get some better media like Taiyo yuden, verbatim or ritek DVD-R 8x discs and burn them at 4x.
good luck with it..let us know how you do and if it doesn't work post back on here and we'll try to help you some more :)

Hmmm.. that game is just a straight iso read and iso write with DVD Decrypter.
I would buy some DVD-R 8x discs and try it again at 4x... buy some Taiyo yuden, verbatim or ritekg04/g05
Also, before you burn make sure to turn off everything you can... including the internet and anti-virus software.. and don't use the computer for ANYTHING while burning.

They ship to belgium, but costs around 13 Euros for shipping... so only worth it if you buy more at once maybe... but on the plus side, it takes 2-4 days only and they accept paypal if you don't want to use credit card etc.
Or google for taiyo yuden, verbatim or ritek and you should find shops closer to where you are maybe.
good luck with it and let me know how you get on when you have some better media.
