Sorry if this is a newb question, but the search didn't turn up any results with my keywords.

I have a PS2 save file from someone who uploaded it onto gamefaqs. Can I transfer that file to my PSP and use that as a carrying case (so to speak) and then link up to my PS2 and transfer the save file over to my memory card? Are there any special steps?
