Firstly i personaly dont know of anybody bricking there PSP (But it does happen, but very unlikely!)

Secoundly If you brick your PSP you make it as useful as a house brick

Thirdly as far as i know if you brick your PSP you have broken it completly :(

Well it means you can't do anything to it, it means you have a psp that is totaly broken.
You can brick your PSP by trying to downgrade and make a MASSIVE!! mistake

Well if you brake while trying to upgrade (dont upgrade any higher than 2.0 or you wont be able to dwongrade again) and you got the update file from sony then they will/should send you anouther one free if u still have the warrenty
