Ive burned many back ups for my ps2 and they all worked until now when i reformated my comp. Burning audio cds are fine but when i tryed to burn an iso backup for swap magic it didnt work when i put it in my ps2! i was using verbatim disks and the burn was scuseful. what would you recomend doing?

What speeds are your discs and at what speed did you burn it at?

Also, when you reformatted your pc, did the firmware on you burner change? Or do you have the latest firmware? Check that to see if it helps. There is a link in my sig for updates.

Do you mean that you tried to backup the swap magic disc?

If so, then no it won't work as you need an original disc or a modchip to boot it.

If that's not what you meant.. then what game is it you're trying to backup and how did you burn it.. what program?

My discs are 8x and i burned dem at 2x. i think the firmware must of changed and i found that my modal is lite-on dvdrw ldw-451s and the firmware update so shud i try that and no i wasnt trying to copy my swap magic disks and was trying to burn prine of pursia two throns and crime life: gangs

Update your firmware and see if that helps. Also, with 8X DVD's, you might want to try burning it at 4X.

Yeah, I'd recommend burning at 4x on 8x discs too... are you using DVD+R or DVD-R discs? I'd use DVD-R if I were you, they are more compatible.

Did you mean true crime:NYC?.. if so that doesn't need rebuilding so should work if you burn it at 4x with DVD Decrypter. also should be the same for POP: two thrones.
