Hey guys. I have the scph 50001 old ps2 and i use swap magic dvd 2.0 with swap magic 3.2 cd and slide card to boot games. My little brothers just got a ps2 slim and i was wondering if i can use the same swap magic dvd and slide for a ps2 slim black?

here is the thing i dont want to buy a flip cover or slim kit cause its too advance for a eleven yr old to do so are you saying that the slide card that worked for my old ps2 wont work for the ps2 slim black?

Yes, that's what he's saying... you may note that the ps2 slim is a fliptop, so obviously a slidecard that works by unlocking a tray mechanism and allowing you to slide it in and out yourself, won't work on a model with no tray!!

The only option you have is to buy the slimtools or another fliptop cover for your brother's ps2 slim... or get a modchip fitted.
