Some times when i download ps2 games in addition to the iso file there is a MDS file what is this and am i supposed to be burning this file as well. I have been downloading and burning games while im waiting for my swap magic to come in the mail. so far ive been using dvd decrypter to burn the iso to blank dvds. should i also be burning the MDS file? will the dvds i have burned with just the iso file work?

The mds file just tells DVD Decrypter what to burn. You don't need to put them together and burn both, just one or the other.

Most people have better luck when selecting the mds file.

If I used DVD Decrypter to burn, I'll choose the MDS file , but if I used Nero Express to burn, then I'll choose the ISO.

Either one is fine, but I still prefer the MDS file. The choice is yours.

By the way.. I hope you didn't delete the iso files you downloaded, because there's no way to tell if it was a successful burn other than playing it in your ps2.
