Hi
I did with the dvd decrypter exatly what you sayd (iso read and iso write) on a dvd-r. when i open the D:(on my comp) I see the files of the game (same files that are on the original) but when i put the disk (copied one) on the ps2' it doesn't recognise it.
I have a chip on my ps2' and i already have played with copied games (which I didn't copy by myself of course)
can u help me please??

A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/240341 If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, Dynex, Princo, Bulqpaq, etc.
CMC Magnetics is garbage. Need proof (Thanks to Alkohol):

This is what most members will tell you. I bought Taiyo Yudens thanks to their recommendations. Normally you're supposed to burn at half the max speed the disk will handle.

My recommendation of lists are:
<> Taiyo Yuden (arguably the best high quality media ever made)
<> Maxell "High Grade - made in Japan by Hitachi Corp." (arguably the best high quality media that's on par with Yuden media)
<> Verbatim "advanced azo or datalife plus" (possibly the 2nd best high quality media next to Yuden and is on par with Maxell)
I've been burning and backing up both PS2 games and DVD movies using the above high quality media and I've never experienced any issues at all, so far they all plays flawlessly. However, the choice is yours.

That's your problem right there. Seems like a media issue to me. You need to use other high quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "advanced azo or datalife plus" or Maxell (mij by Hitachi).
If the game is only 3.46GB then it's a straight up rip and burn via DVD Decrypter only.

Do a search, there are tons of threads on GT4 in here. Search and eventually you'll come across at least 2 or 3 big thread shows how to properly "rebuild" GT4.
Good luck!!

Ok, ok, Il try to help. When you use DVD Descripter, when you READ, two files are extracted, the ISO files and the MDS, when you are gona burn the file, BURN THE MDS. You can check who is who if you just place the mouse pointer in the file. When I bakup my first game I burn the ISO and didnt work, then burn the MDS and work... hope helps you.. if thats youre problem...
