rugby league 2 backup problems

hi guys.. i went out and spent 100$ on rugby league 2.. and i put it in the ps2 and it freezes on the tru blu logo.. so i decided to back it up with dvd decrypter.. i get further with the burnt copy then the original.. with the burnt copy i get all the way to the menu screen but i cant move up and down.. all i can do is hit triangle to go back.. and then x to go back to that same screen..
has anyone been able to play rugby league 2 with a chipped ps2.. or played a burnt copy?
any help would be great

You are going to have to switch off the modchip to play the original. And I dont think anybody has been able to backup the game successfully.

If you actually browsed the forums you would know. Copied version doesn't work yet (No patch) and to play the real one you have to disable the chip. Don't ask me how.

thats what ive been wondering all of a sudden it was gone dont know what happened btw ether this person is lying or its been done

i was lookin on ebay for swap magic and people are selling swap magic GAMES one of the people said they had rl2 i even asked her if she knew how it was done she said her freind does it and files need to be removed ill email her back and see what she says see if she will put me in contact with her freind but she probly wont as we dont know each other
i have the http so if any body wants to pay 15 pounds for 5 games and see if its tru or not, hit me up
sometimes i wake up grumpy, sometimes i let her sleep.

I was asking the same question. I thought somebody patched the game and they stopped the thread. So this looks like the new thread. Hopefully somebody comes with a solution real quick.

@needs - watch the language..
I hid the other thread, due to it being jam-packed with blatant all-out piracy. i only got as far as the 8th page but i'd had to edit so many damn replies i hid the thread to finish off later.
All - Read the Forum Rules in my sig. that thread may re-appear but i suspect various posters within the thread may have to leave the site due to complete and utter non-understanding of the Rules.

Well im not interested in the piracy side of it. I have the original but I am scared of using it as my PS2 is a world reknowned disc murderer. I have tried backing it up with every program I can get my hands on and have had no joy. Have also been keeping up with just about every site that mentions this game and have not seen any news. :(
Interesting side not I can confirm that I can play the original without turning off my Messiah 2. It works completely. However all my backed up versions do not get past the stupid Anasta screen.
