I was just wondering if anyone knows how (if) you can transfer xbox save game files to the 360. I doubt I can just use a memory card since it seems they aren't compatible (not sure). Thanks

hmm I think we will have to wait untill a mod-chip gets realesed or an action replay gets realesed so you can transfer files.

They tried this at PC Magazine and claim they haven't been able to do it yet. I'm sure there will be a work around soon.

yes you can do it

here is how:

you need a usb thumb drive

a usb extended cable to plug the drive into

plug the usb drive into the usb port on the back of the 360

you will notice the 360 will pick it up


once you do this you need a modified usb cable that converts
the controller port on the xbox 1 to a usb connection for the thumb drive format the thumb drive in the xbox 1 dashboard by selecting memory

once this is done you will notice the save file will copy to the thumb drive

then you need to reconnect the thumb drive to the 360

and your done you can now copy saves

doesn't work on dead or alive extreme beach volleyball saves

I can manage all the steps except the critical one.
i can detect my memory card on my 260 but only to view pictures etc. i would be eternally grateful if you would explain this last step in more detail. If you can do this i will document and of course give you credit the whole process with pictures etc.

since there is no copy option on the 360 side, i am under the impression that a sata to usb connection would be required to either a psp or a pc. there is to be shortly released a utility called xplorer360 that will bable to read the fatx drive and allow copying of files.
