i recently burnt a copy of resident evil 4 for the ps2 using alchol 120%. the game burnt fine and i booted up my swap magic 3,6 and started the game, every thing was working fine. Until, it got to a cut scene and it was awful. It was soooo choppy it was unbelievable. i burnt it on the lowest speed and everything. i can just about play the game its that bad. but the ingame play is perfect. please help me as im in need of some advice. thanks

What brand of media are you using (ie - Sony 8X DVD-R)?

You could try burning it at a higher speed or try rebuilding the game.

Yep, as Jamaal said.. try bruning it a bit faster, say 4x on 8x media and make sure it's good media like Taiyo yuden, verbatim, ritek etc

im burning the game from an iso i downloaded. im using datacell dvd+r 4.7 gb discs. do u think it might be my ps2 as its quite old.

I'd say that it's a problem with your media. You might want to try high quality brands like paddy listed.

Nope, I can almost guarantee that it'll be a media problem.. get some DVD-R and from a good brand like Taiyo yuden, verbatim or ritekg04 or g05 discs... they're the only ones I use for my ps2 and dvd backups, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with other brands liek sony,tdk, maxell etc.. but DO NOT get cmc mag discs, imation or memorex.

Then burn it again on the new discs
