How can I convert .vob, .bup, .ifo to mpeg-4?

Use videora to do if you get it to one big .VOB file it's real easy.
try this tutorial.

Alternatively, you could use PQDVD.

ChE2k6 - to convert DVD's using videora, it says you need DVD Decrypter which is no longer legally available.

ok....thanks guys......i have one more question....there is more than one .VOB file, do i convert each .VOB file and then combine the mpeg-4 files?

i prefer not videorora...why it takes hours and hours, believe me, when converting a 3gb file, you can get a 30 trial day on NERO RECODE 2....I use that program and it converts the dvd movie under a hour..Its the fastest transencoder in the world and does it job great.. edited by ddp

I have Nero software that came with my Sony dvd burner....How do u use this software to convert AVI files to mpeg4....can u even??

Well when you convert the dvd to VOB. it should be one large one and then you can convert it mpeg 4
